Do we have both Crows and Ravens living here - does this ever happen? - Most of them, to me, look like Ravens based on their size and tail shape, though I do not check every single one, LOL -- too many to check!!! I would say that they "rule the skies" here! I use to live in Pearblossom - and there were not nearly as many Ravens and/or Crows there - heck, saw Gulls in the skies there - and when out in some fields of Pearblossom - some large Golden Birds way up high - I think either an Eagle or a Hawk. But Pearblossom is at a higher elevation and much closer to the San Gabriel Mountains. We also have smaller birds here in Quartz Hill - and had them in Pearblossom - they eat out of my bird feeder.Ruth Sandra Sperling of RSS Designs In Fiberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05807110437094816431noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-934837842150148995.post-48802322664148844612018-07-11T16:02:48.203-07:002018-07-11T16:02:48.203-07:00I am attempting to I.D. a smallish black bird--NOT...I am attempting to I.D. a smallish black bird--NOT a crow nor raven. With this odd habit of staring up into the sky. I will have groups as large as a dozen in my yard--ALL doing the same odd thing, despite the bright mid-day sun. Too strange.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17748354084161223664noreply@blogger.com
